HDR: Industrial

I’m really liking the 50mm/f1.8 I picked up last week, and starting to think that I should have grabbed the 40mm/f1.8 pancake that was on the shelf beside it – maybe next pay day.

  2. I really like this shot, Marcel, great texture and details. 50mm lens’ are my personal goto favorite for work just like this, I love the clarity of the shot under what is obviously a low-light situation.

      Thanks, I think it came out pretty decently. The light was less than optimal and the image was shot at ISO 400, 1/60th of a second with the lens wide open at 1.8 – slightly more open than its sweet spot which starts at about 2.6 but it worked.
