Wildlife: Coming In For A Landing

We were down at the St. Lawrence Seaway on a bike ride/ship watching expedition yesterday – the ship watching wasn’t so good so we scooted on down to Gananoque to see if there was anything of interest going on there.

While at the Joel Stone Park I started watching the sea gulls hanging around and noticed that every now and again one would land on this light, and I knew that if I was patient enough I would eventually get the “wings wide and staring directly at the camera” shot I wanted….. and after crouching on a rock for 45 minutes or so – click 🙂
